Do any of you utilize anyone outside of your org , like CPA's or etc, for your day to day Quickbooks, financials and reports?
From Kimberly Bramhall -
Our treasurer is a CPA so she does all our checking in online QuickBooks and IRS filings. I keep copies of everything in notebooks in our office.
We have a CPA that does the entry for all our investments and I do all the day to day data entry in QuickBooks. Our Treasurer reconciles all of our bank statements each month.
We have a different CPA that does donate his services and does our 990 each year and we do an annual outside audit.

We do have a financial administrator who does the day to day entry in quickBooks.
We have a CPA who comes in a minimum of once a month to close the books and provides a check and balance of the accounting.
We have an independent audit annually with a separate firm and They complete our 990.Maria Conroy

We do use an outside CPA to do our financials. We write checks and make deposits. At end of each month we give all of that will the detail behind it to the CPA for them to create monthly financials. We have an outside audit firm that does the annual audit and 990.

Our district gives us 10% of a business office clerk's time to generate financial statements and generate payments. We have one foundation employee. A local CPA (alumni) donates in kind services to generate her payroll and create all IRS documentation required.
